Luke Nash
Ride Leader
Q. Do you have a nick name and if you do, what is it and why?
A. Nashy.
Q. When and how did you get into cycling?
A. I have been cycling for around 10 years as a Hobby and more seriously around 5 years.
Q. What do you like the most about cycling?
A. Firstly it’s a massive help for my mental health which has taken a battering over the years. Keeps me fit and able to do lots of other activities and of course the social rides with coffee and cake.
Q. Who is your cycling hero?
A. Even though I love cycling I wouldn’t say I have a hero in any sport I follow. Anyone that doesn’t cheat is a winner for me.
Q. What is your dream bike?
A. At the moment an electric bike would help.
Q. What has been your proudest or biggest achievement?
A. Opening the Indoor Revoluition. It got so many people of their arse and on a bike with so many still peddling now. I do miss those times. (Occasionally).
Q. Garmin or Wahoo?
A. Wahoo
Q. Shimano or Campagnolo?
A. Shimano.
Q. What do you love?
A. Football. Golf. Fishing. Pool. To name a few. But I must make a special mention the Nash clan.
Q. What do you dislike?
A. People who let me down.
Q. You are hosting a diner party and you can invite 4 people from the past or present; who would you invite?
A. My 3 grandparents who have past and my surviving Nan.
